Hardwood overlay system that makes wood installation on stairs easier, faster, & cleaner

StareCasing is an innovative hardwood stair overlay system that can transform your staircase in less time and with less mess than the traditional installation of a wood staircase.  The products are made of 100% genuine hardwood; no veneers, laminates, or plywoods are used.  The system consists of two parts, the StareTread and StareRiser.  The StareCasing system comes with a 30 year warranty.

There are several options to choose from to accommodate a variety of projects.  Stare Casing is available in Red Oak, White Oak, Maple, and Brazilian Cherry.   The wood overlays can either be finished with three stain options, unfinished, or primed white.  Additional wood species & custom stain colors are available upon request to accompany any home’s decor.  StareCasing is available in 36″, 42″, and 48″ lengths.

So how does it work?  Once the carpet is removed, the stairs are measured and necessary cuts are made to the wood pieces.  The StareTread is designed to have a glove-like fit over the existing tread, and the Stare Riser also installs directly over the existing riser.   Both pieces are installed using a polyurethane-based construction adhesive.  This system eliminates the needs for demolition or reconstruction.  The typical installation by a professional only takes between 6-8 hours.
